VELAS TURTLE FESTIVAL TOUR PACKAGE :

Standard Tour Package for Velas Turtle Festival for 01 Nights / 02 Days :

Day 01 –
Reach Velas eco-village by 12:00 pm. Have lunch and rest. Proceed to visit Bankot Fort which is well known for its history and breathtaking view of Velas beach and Harihareshwar Temple. Back to home stay and rest. Evening after tea/coffee; Visit Velas beach to witness those tiny turtle taking their first step. Post sightings, back to home stay. Have dinner and rest for the day.

Day 02 –
Early morning wake up call. Visit beach for turtle sighting. Back to our home stay. Freshen Up and have homely breakfast. Check out by 08:00 a.m and proceed back to Mumbai/Pune. Tour Concludes with Happy Memories 🙂

Inclusions :

1. Accommodation on Dormitory / Room Sharing basis/Room in typical Konkani House
2. Authentic Konkani Meals at Velas {Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast}
3. Velas Turtle sightings by morning and evening session

Exclusions :

1. Personal orders placed at home-stay.
2. Anything other than mentioned above
3. GST on tour package

Standard Tour Package for Velas Turtle Festival for 02 Nights / 03 Days :

Day 01 –
Reach Velas eco-village by 02:00 pm after a bumpy ride. Have lunch and rest. Evening after tea/coffee; Visit Velas beach to witness those tiny turtle taking their first step. Post sightings, back to homestay. Have dinner and rest for the day.
Day 02 –
Early morning wake up call. Visit beach for sighting. Back to our homestay. Freshen Up and have homely breakfast.
Proceed to visit Bankot Fort which is well known for its history and breathtaking view of Velas beach and Harihareshwar. Back to homestay for typical Konkani lunch. Post lunch, rest till evening. Visit Velas beach by evening looking for more sightings of olive ridley turtle hatching. Dinner and rest.

Day 03 –
Early morning wake up with a hope of sighting those baby turtles again. Post sighting session, have breakfast and leave for Harihareshwar via jetty. Explore Shrivardhan beach and proceed back to Mumbai/Pune. Tour Concludes with Happy Memories 🙂

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

The booking is confirmed only after payment and subject to availability. Please find the cancellation and refund policy below :

1. From Date of booking – before 30 days – Cancellation Charge 20% of the Package Cost

2. Between 15 Days-30 Days prior to departure – Cancellation Charge 50% of the Package Cost

3. 14 Days prior to departure – Cancellation Charge 100% of the Package cost; No refund.

Note :
1. The tour dates have been planned after precise calculation of probable hatching dates and as per the information provided by volunteers and researchers at Velas however turtle sightings is a natural phenomena and is matter of luck

2. Considering safety and security measure, it is strictly not permitted to swim at Velas beach. Staying at beach after 7 pm is prohibited.

3. Moreover, we expect our travellers to take this a complete ecotourism experience, enjoy & explore every bit of the tour and think beyond “just sightings”. There is a lot to enjoy in this short tour so Let’s be travellers, not Tourists 🙂

4. As it is totally eco-destination, we provide accommodation on homestay sharing basis. Consumption of Alcohol is strictly prohibited in Velas village. In case of travellers found under influence, our responsibility ceases with you.

5. The Customize Tour Package is available only on weekdays due to unavailability of homestays on weekends.

6.The booking can be confirmed for weekends which is subject to availability. In case of weekends tour, you may book your seats for Group Tours on Weekend as below :
